Your Situation

Support & Review
Introductory Conversation
A focused 15-20 minute call or in-person meeting. I'll guide our conversation, asking the questions that matter for your situation and answering yours. You'll leave knowing where you stand and what comes next.
Understanding Your Situation
Once your Scope of Appointment (SOA) is on file, we go deeper. I'll ask about your current coverage, doctors, prescriptions, travel habits, and what matters most day to day, before we look at any specific plans.
Reviewing Your Options Together
I do the research and bring you the plans worth considering. We walk through each one side by side, costs, networks, drug coverage, and extra benefits. We work together to determine what is right for you.
Enrollment
When you've made your choice, I guide you through the application from start to finish. I handle the paperwork, confirm your start date, and make sure you understand exactly what your new plan covers.
Year-Round Support and Annual Review
My work doesn't end at enrollment. I'm available throughout the year for billing, network changes, or anything else that comes up. Each fall, we review your plan and evaluate alternatives together.
What is an SOA?
Before we discuss specific Medicare Advantage or prescription drug plans, federal rules require you to complete a Scope of Appointment, or SOA. It's a short form that lists the Medicare topics you've agreed to discuss with me. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires it to protect you, making sure our conversation stays focused on what you want to cover and nothing else. It takes about a minute to sign electronically.
A note on Medigap: discussing Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans does not require an SOA. However, because Medigap plans do not include Part D prescription drug coverage, Part D is typically part of the Medigap conversation, and an SOA is required for that portion.

When I was nearing Medicare enrollment time I found the choices daunting. When am I eligible? What if my wife is still working and I can still use her benefits? What happens when she stops working? Do we use COBRA or transition to Medicare? What about Part B, Part C, Part D??? How does earned income come into play? Paula was able to dissect all the variables and give a clear path not just for my initial enrollment but also for our future decisions. Highly recommend having Paula guide you through this maze. The wrong choices can end up costing you thousands of dollars in future years. Michael PawlowskyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
